GFC Ajaccio vs Tours (By: Alcuni)

GFC Ajaccio – Tours

GFC still needs some points in order to remains in Ligue2. Currently on 16th spot with 35 points ( 6 more than Nancy) they are living dangerously losing 8 games out of last 11 plays. Nasty for them is losing in this gap versus teams involved in the relegation battle, like Bourg Peronnas and Nancy. Single win in this period came versus Auxerre, a team who have nothing to play for at that time ( 2 rounds ago). So is obviously they can’t perform in good way versus the team who must win points, being involved either at the top of the table or bottom of the table fight. So a lot of pressure on them hence disastrous results. For this game they can’t count on Mombris suspended.

For Tours almost all is finished for now, their hopes for salvation ended in high percentage, with last defeat 0-1 at home versus Chateauroux. And this due mostly to an extremely first poor part of the season when collected only 5 points. Some encouraging results in 2nd part of the season with wins vs promotion chasers Brest and Lorient and a draw vs Nimes. Difficult now, to anticipate who they will perform in the remaining rounds, but expect them to put some good efforts and, why not, to get good results keeping in mind they will plays most of the remaining games versus bottom of the table teams, involved in relegation battle as GFC, Quevilly, Nancy and why not Lens ( who doesn’t fill better this time). Mathematic Tours can relegate this round if they will lost at GFC and Nancy win vs Auxerre ( cause is difficult to believe they will recover the goal difference vs Nancy). Devaux is suspended for this trip.

Expect both team to cancel each other and the game to end into a draw. gl
