Luton vs Barnet

Luton return to Kenilworth Road and welcome League Two's bottom side Barnet looking to get back to winning ways.

The home side are 5 games without a win and have seen their comfortable top spot status removed by Accrington Stanley. The Hatters have had a tough run of fixtures facing away games to Coventry and Newport and also hosting a top of the table clash against Accrington Stanley. They have seen 4 draws and 1 defeat in this winless run.

Goalscoring has never been a problem and with Danny Hylton and James Collins fit the odds are this will continue when Barnet make the short journey north. The two forwards have 15 and 17 goals respectively and both feature in League Two's top scorer charts.

The away side are fighting a losing back to avoid relegation back to the National League. The Bees are currently 7 points adrift of safety and are showing no signs of clawing the deficit back. Their away of late has been poor with just 2 wins and a draw since September 2017.

They simply lack firepower with Grimsby the only side scoring less than Barnet with both sides averaging less than a goal a game. Previous seasons they have relied on John Akinde to score their goals but this term he has only netted 4 league goals.

Back Luton to return to winning ways.
