Brechin vs Dunfermline

Midweek Scottish Championship action sees Brechin City entertain Dunfermline at Glebe Park.

There isn't much to say about Brechin other than they are nowhere near good enough for the Championship. They sit in bottom position with just 4 points this season out of 27 matches! They have 0 wins and just the 4 home draws.

Last time out they faced the side above them in the league, albeit, 20 points better off and went down to a 3-1 loss to Dumbarton. This was easily their best chance to get their first win of the season.

They are capable of picking up a point or 2 against decent opposition as 3 of their points were home draws against Dundee United, Livingston and Morton. These are currently the 3 sides in the play-off places.

Dunfermline have play-off ambition too and really need to pick up 3 points here to keep up pace with Morton. A win would put the Pars just 1 point behind their rivals who they draw 0-0 with last time out.

Dunfermline don't score many but even they would hope to put a couple past the rock bottom club.

Joe Cardle looks to still be out but unless they rotate their main scorers should feature, Higginbotham, McManus & Clark.
