Niort vs Valenciennes (By: Alcuni)

Niort – Valenciennes

Two interesting teams who, unfortunately both had last 2 months as nightmare. Both without a win in last 5 games, with Niort taking a single point at home vs Nancy, while Valenciennes taking only 2 points vs Quevilly and LeHavre. Both teams with some squad problems (injuries and suspension) and both let to go some good players as Grange for Niort, Ndao (he gone this week at Quevilly) and Pierre- Charles (Bourg). Both with attacking football approach but who didn’t pay in these two months. More over both conceded a lot lately: Niort 12 goals while Niort 11 goals in these last 5 games. To continue, each team collected same number of points in 22 rounds, 26 points, being close in table 13th position the host vs 14th position the guests. (both with same statements: 7wins, 5 draws and 10 defeats). So plenty of similarities between these two in last 2 months. Perhaps for one of the team this bad streak will end now..or maybe not. My first tough was we will see an overish game. But similarity are continuing in team news as both teams will be without important strikers: Lamkel Ze ( Niort 2nd top scorer with 6 goals ) is out due to disciplinary reasons while at Valenciennes top scores Mothiba ( 8 goals) + another striker Gueozoui are injured Still some good news for Niort as important midfielder Agouazi plus Batisse and Diakite are back in the squad. So changed my mind and played under 2.25 goals (and as often happened so far when changed my initial thought… perhaps same will happen here – will not be a surprise hehehe). gl

right but they brought Olliero from Nantes an young GK who made a good game at home vs Nancy. What happened in Auxerre wasn't completely his fault ( made some mistakes but the score already was 2-0). gl
