Aston Villa vs Barnsley by Mrgol
In spite of the good scoreless draw gained in last round against leader Wolves i go against Barnsley, that remain only three points over rlegation zone and away is not so good ( 3-4-6 15/20).
It is true that they are in a run of four matches without defeats, but only one win in this run, away but against last on table Sunderland.
And before this they gained only one point in previous seven league matches.
Second scorer Barnes (midf. 5g) returned to Leicester, McGeehan ( midf.6+3 1g) and Ugbo ( att.7+6 1g) gone, too, while Gardner ( midf. 10+1) on loan from Villa can't play this match, J.Williams ( midf.25 1g), Yadlom ( midf.15), Jackson ( def.12 1g), Hedges ( att.5+12 2g) are all unavailable.
Villa had a bad start of season and sometimes make little bad runs, yet( as in december in which gained only three draws in five matches), but at home has good results ( 7-5-1 22/10 third best home team) and comes from three consecutive wins.
Hosts will recover probably midf. Jedinak ( 7+4 1g) and Wehlan ( midf.24 1g) respect last match, while Kodja ( att.7+1 1g), Samba ( def.5+5 1g) and Aghbolanhor ( att.2+6 1g) should be all out.
So, definitly, no big problems for hosts, while Barnsley is short in midfield and its run without defeats should come to an end with this match considering the different level of the opponent and home/away stats in favour of Villa.
