I'll mention my funny story with the Hawks...So, I picked them to stay competitive against the banged-up Mavs the other day. Len didn't make his return as planned, neither Bembry or Fernando, while they lost Hunter close to the tip-off. 5 minutes into the game they lost Reddish t head injury and in the second half, they lost Trae with a sprained ankle. They literally were down to an 8-men rotation and 6 of those were G-Leaguers. Now, I mention that, because Len, Bembry, Reddish, and Fernando are not expected to return today, while Hunter is doubtful and Trae probable. Can the Hawks be relevant against a red hot Celtics team that allows the second-fewest points in the league? I would say no but I'm not going to be THAT guy again. Let the Hawks be Hawks.
I'm going with Huerter's threes here. Right now, the Hawks are very slim at guard positions and Huerter is probably going to spend close to 40 minutes on the court for another game. He is the team's best long-range shooter, shooting with 39.9% from beyond the arc and his offense will be vital for the Hawks today whether Trae plays or not. His line is at 13.5 points but 9 out of 10 times that he covered that line, he made at least 3 threes and long-range shots are vital to his game and his production, while, with his height advantage over the Celtics' guards, he should not hesitate to even take (and make) well-contested shots.
If the Hawks are going to score 113 points, like the bookies predict them to do, then Huerter definitely has to do a lot of damage today.
