TSG Hoffenheim vs Eintracht Frankfurt prediction
Hoffenheim surprised a lot last time out in Bundesliga, winning at home over Dortmund with a 2:1 result.
The match itself looked like belonging to Dortmund for the most of the clash, as they had the lead via a goal from Gotze in the 17th minute, however, the hosts exploited lack of concentration towards the end.
Adamyan leveled up in the 79th minute, as the guests tried to respond but it was exactly what cost them, with Kramaric bringing the home team into the lead in the 87th minute leaving no time for Dortmund to reply back.
They are now on a mini-run of two victories, having just three points less than Champions League placed teams, so a victory here is must-win to keep the spirits high.
During the break, they had friendlies against Feyenoord and Den Haag, losing both matches narrowly.
The hosts should have no fresh injury worries, forwards Belfodil (5/0) and Ochs (no performance so far) are sidelined for more than a couple of months already.
Eintracht Frankfurt, on the other side, had problems performing consecutively in a good manner.
After seventeen rounds played, the team is only at the thirteenth position which is far away from the rankings they expected their team to be. Moreover, they have no victory in the last seven Bundesliga rounds, taking just one point out of these seven matches.
Away from home, they are even worse, being actually the weakest traveler so far - only three points out of eight matches.
The team is on the run of three losses now, surely wanting to improve but also knowing that they need to work really hard now to overcome the situation.
If anything, the break did come at the right time for them, while it's very difficult to expect immediate reaction and improvement.
The side suffered 2:1 defeat against Hertha Berlin last Thursday as a part of preparations for the second part of Bundesliga during the break.
Goalkeeper Ronnow (8/0) is injured, same as midfielder Torro (3/0). Doubtful is defender Russ (5/0), but also being sidelined for more than two months now.
Hoffenheim has shown so much more in the attack so far and with their two back to back victories in Bundesliga, it's difficult to see them slipping here.
Eintracht is far away from a naive side, however their unreliability in the defensive lineup costs them too much.
