Norwich vs Chelsea prediction

After a loss against Liverpool 4:1 where they couldn't stand the quality difference but still showed some promising things up front, the players of Norwich reacted far better in a 3:1 home victory over Newcastle.

Their striker Pukki was the man of the match with three goals scored, as the hosts impressed with the number of goalscoring chances created and the difference in performance comparing to their opponents who were limited to a passive role without much of the ball possession at all.

Defender Hernandez (1/0) and forward Drmic (1/0) are sidelined with injuries early into the season. Injured also remain defenders Klose, Zimmermann while doubtful for now is defensive Amadou who isn't fully fit.

Chelsea succumbed to a 4:0 loss at the start away to Manchester United, as the team looked fairly better in the European Super Cup against Liverpool during the previous midweek when they suffered loss only after the penalty kicks against Liverpool and a 2:2 draw game after the extra-time.

The team entered well into the second round at home against Leicester, taking the lead in the seventh minute via Mount, but didn't exactly meet up the expectations in the second halftime when they got leveled up via Ndidi in the 67th minute.

It was maybe a bit of fatigue from the Super Cup's game, but the Blues are expected to show their real face in the next rounds for sure.

Midfielder Loftus-Cheek is injured, while offensive Hudson-Odoi and central back Rudiger remain doubtful with little chances to perform so unfit.

Chelsea remains a bit of a question mark early into the season, but do remain favorites in this one.

However, with the way Norwich moved the ball against Newcastle and with their morale being boosted, I definitely see the home team scoring here and making it as tough as possible for the Blues. The visitors didn't look that well at the back at all so far and I see plenty of chances for Norwich to jeopardize their victory too.
