Man. United vs Southampton prediction

England Premier League

Man Utd (5) vs Southampton (17)

Man Utd are coming from another victory when they visited Crystal Palace (14) and won 1-3. They are still undefeated in the league under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (9-2-0) and should for sure be capable of winning this match as well. After two straight home draws vs Burnley (15) & Liverpool (1), I think we can look forward to see a attacking home team today. Valencia, Darmian, Lingard, Mata, Herrera, Martial & Matic still reported injured.

Southampton are coming from the very important victory vs Fulham (19) last time out. But they didn’t really impress though, other than being effective. So as it stands they are placed 2 points above Cardiff (18) & the relegation zone. 2-2-2 last 6 matches is uplifting for them, but they are not very dangerous on their travels, away record: 3-3-8. Lemina & Obafemi injured. Ings doubtful.

* The reverse fixture ended 2-2 back in December

* 6 of 9 Man Utd victories under Solskjaer ended with 2+ goals victories

* 5 of 8 Southampton away losses ended with 2+ goals losses

Altough Southampton looks better with Hasenhuttl in charge, I expect this one to be too hard for them. Man Utd are flying high and taking in mind which quality they got, this should be a pretty easy win imo. I dont think the CL match vs PSG midweek will have any focus here, and taking in mind how good their morale & confidence seems to be at the moment, I think chances will be good for us to see them winning big today. 3-0?
