Bolivar vs Always Ready (By: Dajkula)
Bolivar welcomes the newcomers Always Ready in the match of the 7`th round of the Bolivian Apertura. The home side is the leader again with 11 points and 3-2-1 so far and 11:7 gd. Bolivar is leading the league by 1 point but the coach is satisfied. The team already played 4 matches away from home and came out with great results. The away game has always been a problem for Bolivar so these good results make them quite optimistic. Bolivar is probably the best home team and rarely they will lose. They played 2 matches so far and won over Destroyers 2:0 and drew with Nacional 1:1. It could have been better for sure. Their latest match was a threat as they played away with San Jose and took a 4:4 draw. In a game with many turnovers, Bolivar was even lucky to score in the final minutes. They have shown big frailties in defending crosses and conceded 3 times from those. Today they will play with 3 in attack and look for Marcos Riquelme, the Spaniard Juan Miguel Callejón and Juan Carlos Arce to score the goals.
I already wrote about the Always Ready and their ambition. They are the new team of the league and they have the money. They also have a couple of ex Bolivar players amped up for this match. The team scores a lot of goals and their attacking threat is real but so far limited to their home matches. There is a lack of discipline in the team and I guess they were lucky to beat Blooming in their last match. The judge should have awarded Blooming with the penalty early on but didn`t. Always Ready took its first win of the season and it was coming for a while. On the bad side, the two Colombians were removed from the team for indiscipline. They didn`t play anyway. Always Ready is 12`th with 1-3-2 so far and 6 points. They average 3.5 goals so far.
The coach plans to attack Bolivar and go with 3 forwards: Augusto Andaveris, Marcos Ovejero, and William Ferreira. Always Ready plays at the high of El Alto which is higher than La Paz. They will be accustomed to the conditions and I won`t be surprised if they score a couple of goals.
I have this game for a big over for a small stake. Too bad the odds dropped a lot.
