Leicester vs Man. United (By: Dajkula)
Leicester faces Manchester United in the round 25 of the Premier League and it is a tough one to predict. However, the hosts are seeing a lot of red lately and their form is on the decline. The period in which they beat both Chelsea and City is a month back through taking a point vs Liverpool is encouraging. They didn`t produce much in that game but kept it tight and frustrated the Liverpool players. Many see Puel`s time closing to an end and are just finding the excuses. Leicester is ranked 11`th with 32 points but their objective is 7`th. They have been really a hit or miss all season long and we can see that by the results. The total is 9-5-10 and neither at home have they been overly convincing. Here, they have 4-2-5 and besides the City win, they took some surprising losses not showing that strength they had in previous seasons. They lost to Tottenham, Everton, strangely Cardiff and Southampton. Those two losses came in this last period in which they lost 3 of the last 5 matches. They would definitely like a more compatible opponent today.
Manchester United played only 2:2 draw with Burnley at home but it could have been worse. They were trailing 0:2 but fought back and many saw it reminiscent of the Ferguson times. They dominated in that match but had a hard converting their chances. A draw is, I guess, a positive result since all the big teams failed in midweek. They continue with the positive momentum through potential injuries to Pogba and Martial have dampened the fans spirit. But, if we are to trust Solskjaer, both should be ready for this match. Manchester has now won 8 of their last 9 matches and they have been in fine scoring form. They had a hard time against Tottenham and maybe should have lost but they preserved that 1:0 win. They are ranked 6`th now with 45 points and 2 behind Arsenal. The coveted 4`th place is not far away.
There is definitely more energy and belief since Solskjaer took over and this is the kind of matches ManU has to win till the end. Leicester is one of their favorite opponents.
Manchester has won 16 of the last 20 against Leicester and 5 of the last 6. I find them capable of producing the result today.
Leicester is without Amertey while Manchester is without Rojo with both Pogba and Martial rated a doubt but should get the playing time.
Going for Manu this time.
