What's an accumulator bet?

An accumulator is a betting option in which you make four or more selections into a single bet or so-called wager. An advantage of it would be that the winnings are higher, but the risk is increased too.

However, it became a favorite betting option for many recreational punters since it allows you to expect much higher winnings with a lesser stake.

You need all the selections to be won in order for the combo to be won. You can't afford to lose a single staked selection. In situations such as a non-runner, a void bet, or Asian handicaps that end void, you'll be fine since the odds will be reduced using standard betting rules.

Just keep in mind that a single lost selection will make the entire coupon a losing one.

Bets with fewer selections behave and are determined in the same way, just have a different name. Usually these are called combos, parlays, doubles or trebles.

What's a double?

A double bet would be a two selections bet in your accumulator.

What's a triple or a treble?

A triple bet would be a three selections bet in your accumulator.

Doubles and trebles are more favorited by some of the pro punters since the risk is reduced and it might suit you more in some cases instead of chasing some handicaps at increased risk.
