Primera: Malaga vs Betis
After a lot of investments made during summer, but winter transfer period too, it was expected that Malaga reaches European League ticket at least. Although it can't be said that they were in good form, or had good results during the whole season, thanks to lots of equal teams in Primera this season, they are still in more than good position to get not Europa League ticket, but Champions League ticket at the end of the season. Hosts are at fourth position right now, with same number of points as third placed Valencia, but more important for them is that they are also three points away from fifth placed Levante and that they are holding the destiny in their own hands when speaking about their Champions League ticket. As said, they weren't in best form through the season, but it seems like they caught the perfect form when needed the most. They have won five out of last six matches, also five last matches played in front of their fans. Hosts will be without goalkeeper Willi Caballero, Jeremy Toulalan and Joaquin who are all injured for this game.
Betis, on the other side, is currently in total opposite form comparing to their opponents tonight. They are on 15 position at this moment, with seven points more than the first relegating team - Racing Santander. They haven't win in previous six matches, including two losses away from home to Levante and Rayo. Bigger problem for the guests is that they played these six matches against teams of their own quality, but they failed to win a single match. Only good thing for them at this moment is that the relegation candidates are still far away from them and that they have time to improve the difference with their home matches as they were quite poor this season on the road. Additionally, their manager is having a headache in front of this game as several key players are injured and he had to call up a few youngsters from Betis B team. Guests are traveling without centre-back Paulao, Benat Extebarria and Iriney so youngsters Alex Martinez and Damian Petcoff have been called up to the squad.
