Japan vs Bosnia by 20Legend
This is the final of the Kirin Cup and host Japan was really impressive during their first match against Bulgaria (7-2). The Japanese was on fire right from the start and did not look back after taking the lead after three minutes. Japan has a very strong squad named for this tournament like Keisuke Honda (AC Milan), Maya Yoshida (Southampton), Shinji Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund) and Shinji Okazaki (Leicester).
Honda did actually not play against Bosnia while the other three players were certainly making their stamp on the game. The trio scored five of the seven goals for a team that completely outplayed their opponent. They are certainly aiming for the title in their own cup and it will be very difficult to stop them.
Bosnia Herzegovina is lacking their biggest stars in this tournament like Edin Dzeko (Roma), Miralem Pjanic (Roma), Emir Spahic (Hamburger SV) and Asmir Begovic (Chelsea). However, that did not stop them from humiliating Denmark in their first game. Denmark was having a much stronger squad on paper with strong names like Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester), Christian Eriksen (Tottenham), Simon Kjaer (Fenerbahce), Lasse Vibe (Brentford), Lasse Schone (Ajax) and Victor Fischer (Ajax) available.
Denmark showed their quality in the first half and led 2-0 at halftime. However, they got too comfortable in the second half, which made Bosnia turn up the tempo. They got an early goal after 52 minutes which strengthened their hopes as Bosnia took over the initiative completely. They got a red card after 70 minutes which made it look difficult to get another goal, but Bosnia just kept on attacking. They got rewarded after 83 minutes and the transformation was almost complete. The game finished 2-2 in regular time and Bosnia got the win from the following penalty shootout.
I have really big expectations to this game as I expect another game with many goals involved. Japan has really got a class team here compared to the other teams involved and it should be clear in this match as well. Bosnia did show that they are capable of hurting their opponents though which means that Japan cannot take easy on their opponent. Goals have really been the key in this tournament and it will continue in this final. Over 2.5 goals seem undoubtable given the strength of the Japanese team.
