France vs Belarus by Isaiah
France is finally back in winning ways after the victorious start to World Cup qualifiers away to Finland (0-1). The final score does not show the quality difference between the two teams, as France created many phases to clean up the game and had total control of the game. This victory was what they wanted, to an ideal period to calm down the atmosphere, generally things are getting better for France.
The only bad news came due to the injury of midfielder Abou Diaby who will not play tonight, the same goes on for Gael Clichy. Mathieu Debuchy (Lille), Philippe Mexes (Milan), Samir Nasri (Manchester City), Yoann Gourcuff (Lyon), Hatem Ben Arfa (Newcastle) and Yann M'Vila (Rennes) are all still out of the squad, all of them did not played against Finland. Etienne Capoue (Toulouse) will take Diaby's place, while the lineup includes another change, as Christophe Jallet (PSG) will play instead of Anthonty Reveillere (Lyon). Karim Benzema will play in front probably, while Olivier Giroud is finally fit to play.

Belarus had a very bad start to the World Cup qualifiers, as they lost the first official test away to Georgia (1-0). Fairly lost after a very mediocre performance, a defeat that can cost them a lot as they are participating to a group, with France and Spain, and a result against Georgia was a must for them. Generally it was a very bad match to watch, with both sides having lot of hard tackles and showing very little football, while Belarus had big problems to find ways to reach the opponent's goal.
For sure there is lot of concern at the moment for their performance to the game against Georgia, and i think that a more difficult night awaits them. Their best player, Alexander Hleb, will miss the game due to injury, he did not played against Georgia too, while Dzmitry Mazalewski (BATE Borisov) is out injured too. Belarus will field a defensive side with Sergei Kornilenko (Krylia Sovetov) and Vitali Rodionov (BATE Borisov) in front line.
The game will be played in Stade de France, where France national team has always very big support from the fans. France did not won against Belarus to both of their two meetings so far, but in my opinion they have a very good chance tonight for a convincing win, as the situation is really better to their squad in comparison with previous years. Belarus without Hleb is losing lot of power, and i believe that if France will score early, the game can go really wrong for Belarus.
