Sandefjord vs Tromso
Sandefjord didn't do well last time out, when the team suffered heavy defaet away to Rosenborg last Saturday evening with a 5:1 result. They simply weren't up to the task, having to play against way more superior opponent who simply had their great day, especially in offense and in the first part of the game.
Players of Rosenborg had 4:0 lead already after first halftime, thanks to goals from Vilhjalmsson, Bendtner, Jensen and Hedenstad, all scored from 23rd to 38th minute. Hedenstand scored fifth goal for the home team in 76th minute, while the visitors were only able to reduce the deficit in 85th minute via Kastrati. Visiting side didn't deserve anything better having now three matches in a row without a victory, as they now continue to be just above the red zone placed sides, having eighteen points earned so far, which is just a point more than play-out placed Kristiansund.
Midfielder Thomas Bendiksen is still long term absentee. Right back Victor Demba Bindia (13/0) and midfielder Enric Valles (13/0) are both suspended for this one.
Tromso, on the other side, comes from yet another defeat as they visited Haugesund in previous game played two weeks ago and have suffered 2:0 defeat without being really threatening or competitive during the match. It was their sixth consecutive game without a victory in Eliteserien, as the team now really seems to be in problem.
They conceded first goal via penalty kick taken by Kiss in 17th minute, while the hosts sealed the victory in 83rd via Abdi, just when the players of Tromso tried to do something more. As said, they are now in a really bad period having no victory since middle of May and just three overall so far in the season, being just second from the bottom - four points ahead of rock botto placed Viking and four less than safely placed Sandefjord. Goalkeeper Filip Loncaric and offensive player Runar Espejord are injured. Same as left back Patrick Kpozo (2/0) and third choice goallie Otto Fredrikson.
Tromso has a new manager and he should improve the things. However, the match comes too soon now and I don't believe he will be able to make an instant impact on their performances. Hosts are looking as a way more stable side this season and should prevail here, easy or hard. I expect them to react after two poor performances.
