Derby vs Norwich
Championship action again in a game that will see two promotion hopefuls compete at the iPro Stadium, Derby. The kick off will be at 15:00 and will see Derby County host Norwich City.
The hosts head into this game in good form, since McClaren took charge at Derby again he seems to have got straight into things and got Derby back on track. They still lie in 12th in the table, however, pushing their way up towards a play off place again. A win here today could see Derby move up to 7th in the league, so I expect them to be up for the clash.
They head into the game on the back of three straight wins, they beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at home and then won Wolves 3-2 away from home. Their last fixture was against Rotherham. A game which could have been 6 or 7 nil. Rotherham keeper Le Camp had a great game and kept the score slightly more respectable that it should have been.
Derby looked good and their big players seemed to performing again, the likes of Darren Bent, Tom Ince and Will Hughes all seem to have found their form and look dangerous on every attack!
The hosts have really slipped off the pace in recent months, they find themselves down in 6th in the table now. They haven't won a game in their last six fixtures, drawing one and losing 5! They seem to be finding the net enough, however, their defence looks fragile. Therefore, I expect Derby to turn up the heat today and know that a win could see them move to within one point of their opponents.
I'll be backing Derby to win the game and I think odds of 2.15 with William Hill are massive. Good luck all.
