Brighton vs West Brom
Brighton didn't impress so far in Premier League, but truth to be told they had a difficult start playing against Manchester City at home and against Leicester on the road, suffering defeats in both matches without a goal scored, however the side didn't impress a lot in the third round either when the side visited Watford on the road and took a point in unimpressive goalless game.
However, important factor happened in 24th minute when the home team stood playing with a man less when Britos got red carded and the players of Watford stood way too passive on the field being limited to a defensive role mostly, but the players of Brighton didn't manage to use the situation on the field and didn't make real number of concrete chances in front of opponents goal. The side is at seventeenth position with a point taken so far, being one of the teams yet to score in the season, another tea is Crystal Palace.
Home team will probably be playing in 4-4-1-1 formation with Murray as central striker and Gross as offensive midfielder just behind his back. Left back Gaetan Bong is injured, same as defensive midfielder Beram Kayal, midfielders Steve Sidwell and forward Sam Baldock, all without performing so far in Premier League. Injured is also offensive midfielder Isaiah Brown (1/0). On the positive side Glenn Murray and Tomer Hemed are back after recovering from injuries.
West Brom, on the other side, started the season very well, but the team didn't manage to impress completely and get third consecutive victory at start in Premier League, as the side took just a point in a home game against Stoke City two weekends ago in a 1:1 game. Must be said that the game was far away from impressive, with both teams somehow sticking to a defensive tasks at first.
Hosts looked a bit better in the second halftime and took the lead in 61st minute via Rodriguez, but the visitors replied back via Crouch in 77th minute, leaving not enough time for the home team to respond. Still the side remained undefeated in Premier League, sharing the second position with few more sides and being just two points below the league leaders from Manchester United.
Guests are set to play in 4-2-3-1 formation with Rondon as central striker, plus Phillips, Morrison and Rodriguez as offensive midfielders. Forward Hal Robson-Kanu (2/1) completes his three match ban here. Central defender Gareth McAuley is unfit and shouldn't feature here. Newly signed Kieran Gibbs and Grzegorz Krychowiak could make debuts in this one.
- Brighton have failed to score in their last 3 matches (Premier League).
Brighton picked up their first Premier League point last time out, but I don't see them improving much for this one. It will surely be a hard task for them facing West Bromwhich and even though the draw can't be excluded, I give all the advantage to the visiting side to seal a three pointer here.
