Silkeborg vs Midtjylland
After four matches in Superliga without a defeat, Silkeborg couldn't do much more in their 3:1 defeat away to Brondby last weekend. It was a game simply where the visiting side played against far more quality opponent and couldn't stay competitive for all ninety minutes.
Players of Brondby took the lead in 24th minute with a goal from Mukhar and even though the visitors leveled up the result in 59th minute via Helenius, once Brondby upped the tempo, visitors were easily beaten with two goals within two minutes, via Pukki in 67th and Wilczek just a minute later. Silkeborg is now at eleventh position, having already nine points less than play-off placed SonderjyskE and the team will surely have tough job staying away from relegation battle this season. Home team continues to miss goalkeeper Kristian Faeste (who didn't perform so far), plus forward Nicolaj Agger (13/0), both due injuries.
Midtjylland, on the other side, comes from a narrow 1:0 victory at home against Odense last weekend, which was completely deserved this time, since the hosts looked slightly better for all ninety minutes. They took the lead already in fourth minute with a goal from Nissen, but remained being better as said.
After this victory, the team remained at the third position, now having six points less than second placed Brondby, but with a game in hand and therefore, this remains a must win situation for them. On the road the team suffered narrow defeat to Sonderjyske last time out and they are now desperate to get back to winning ways having previous two important victories. Guests will be missing suspended Andre Romer (16/1) who is suspended, plus forwards Bruninho (2/0) and Gustav Wikheim (5/2) who are injured.
Midtjylland showed so much in the season and I can't look past their victory. Home side is having terrible problems in the defense and I can't see them being able to resist against more quality opponent.
