Special Bet vs Miami Heat by FairPlayBet

So, this is special bet on Miami Heat to win this final series in 6 or in 7 games (4-2 or 4-3). Current best odds for Miami to beat Oklahoma in NBA finals are around 2.50. IMO this is great value since chances in series will be 50-50. For me Heat are slightly better, while Oklahoma has advantage of home court. So, I rate this finals as 50-50. In any case odds on Miami to win the championship are simply too high.

But I respect Oklahoma City Thunder very much. IMO they are team who has one of best home courts in NBA. So, if Miami win this series (in what I believe), it wont be with score of 4-0 or 4-1. 4-0 or 4-1 would mean that Heat need to win both first games in Oklahoma or at least one and then also the 5th game in the series. And in the same time to win both games (3rd and 4th) on home court. This will be very difficult task even for James, Wade and Bosh. But 4-2 or 4-3 is pretty much expected result. Also on this way with this two options, we have much better odds than odds for simple series winner.

About reasons while I believe that Heat will go all the way: First I don't like how Russell Westbrook has played in most of post-season games. Seems to me he would have to be much better if Thunder want to win championship. Kevin Durant was great and there there is nothing to add.

But on the other hand, Miami in my opinion was more powerful lately. LeBron James has played some amazing games. Last season's bad 4th quarters for him are long past now. He has showed that he is even better than anyone thought. Wade was far behind James in post-season, especially against Boston Celtics. But there is reason for this. It was Doc Rivers and his decision to Celtics' defense would be much more focus on Wade than on James.

The third player among Heat's "big three" - Cris Bosh was back on the court in last two games with Celtics after injury he had. And right away we could see how much important he is for Heat. His role in this team is nothing less important than LeBron's or Wade's role. The good news for Heat is not just that Bosh is back, but also his form is surprisingly good. IMO, Thunder wont find the way to stop Cris Bosh, although they have good defensive player like Perkins.
