Two top players, but still never met before. Clay-court is advantage for Almagro but only slighty advantage since Tipsarevic proved many times that he can play great tennis also on this surface.

Current and recent form, I would say they are on pretty much same level. Almagro was better in Rome, Janko in Madrid, before Roland Garros Almagro won low quality tour in Nice while Tipsarevic has played great tennis in World Team Cup in Dusseldorf.

In Paris in previous three rounds both were convincing. Janko lost only one set while Almagro won three times in straight. Note that Serbian player had slightly heavier schedule.

All in all, Tipsarevic plays with much more confidence since he entered the top 10 and seems he will stay there for a while.

I think Janko is closer to win in this match, if nothing else this should be 50-50 while this (+5.5) should be enough initial advantage.
