Both teams qualified from the same group and now they are paired in quarter final of Copa Libertodores. In group match clash Boca’s 35 match consecutive win was broken when Fluminense defeated them but Boca took their revenge by beating Fluminense at away in the group.

Thanks to their strong offense line, Boca Juniors played a great football against Union Espanola the Chilean team and qualified to quarter finals. They managed to hit the nets of Union Espanola 5 times in both legs but it is also a truth that they conceded 3 goals. They have some defending problems for sure. Veteran star Riquelme is still in form and his ability to find goals can not be discussed. He will be a very big threat to Fluminense. A special note is that Boca Juniors were the better side in both matches against Fluinense.

Fluminense eliminated Internacional 2-1 after playing a goalless first leg match at away. Very bad news for the visitors that Deco is for sure not playing and Fred was already injured. These players were very needed for the first leg. Fluminense will really look for Fred as he is the job maker. They will want to be careful and stop Boca attacks and than expect a mistake in order to create a dangerous attack.

Fluminense is missing their important striker Fred and they are the away team. Boca Juniors were better side in group matches and they have no luxury to make a mistake. If Fred and Deco would play than I would go for over 2.5 as Boca Juniors tend to make mistakes in defense. Bet on home team.
