Bayern vs Chelsea by Jamesington

Bayern
VS
Chelsea
The final of this year's Champions' League features Bayern Munich and Chelsea. The two teams they knocked out are the supposed two 'best teams in the world' so this certainly has the makings of a battle about it. The richest game in football takes place in Germany this year, in fact it takes place at Bayern's home ground - the Allianz Arena.

Regardless of who wins, whichever team you are supporting, the object here in this game is to have a profitable outcome and the way I see this coming about is by backing something to happen which has consistently happened throughout the tournament - Bayern to score goals at the Allianz Arena.

The German side have played seven games at home over the course of this season's European campaign and in every single one of those matches they have scored two goals or more (on one occasion netting seven, against Basle).

Opponents Chelsea have not succeeded in keeping goals out (only registering one clean sheet, at Benfica) and despite managing to knock out Barcelona in the semi-final will struggle to up their game to such a level in the final against favourites Bayern. Chelsea do have great players - Fernando Torres, Didier Drogba, Petr Cech, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard are all likely to take part in the final but the key lies with those who will not make the match. John Terry, the captain and heart of the defence, is suspended along with Ramires (arguably Chelsea's best player this season), Raul Meireles and Branislav Ivanovic.

Bayern have immense attacking power in the form of Gomez, Ribery, Robben, Muller etc and will not fail to score in front a crowd made up of mostly Germans.
