Murray vs Troicki by Jamesington

Being a Scot I am supporting Andy Murray in the French Open and hoping our boy does well but unfortunately I think his run could be about to come to an end, against Serbian Viktor Troicki.

Troicki has played good tennis in this tournament, winning his first two matches in straight sets and overcoming a tough opponent in highly-rated youngster Alexandr Dolgopolov in four sets. Troicki is yet to beat Murray, having attempted the feat three times but I reckon it will be fourth time lucky.

Troicki has looked really fit in the matches we have seen him play already at Roland Garros. This is in stark contrast to Andy Murray who is struggling with an ankle injury.

In the last round, against Michael Berrer, Andy Murray took a massive fall - going over his ankle - and appeared to be in agony for long periods of the rest of the match. Arguably Berrer could have done more to punish Murray and might have won the game, but - being a good sportsman - he refused to play unfairly against his injured opponent.

Murray is clearly not going to be 100% in this match and he faces a much tougher opponent here in Troicki. An injury retirement is a possibility but we are used to seeing Murray battle heroically through with injuries so I reckon the match will go the distance.

Troicki is available at 3.25 with Bet 365 so have a low-medium stake on this backed up with low stakes on him to win in straight sets or dropping just one.
