Monaco vs Pole Position by Jamesington

With Vettel's Red Bull being near totally dominant come raceday this season we must look elsewhere to, hopefully, obtain something like more of a chance of winning.

Look to qualifying where Vettel can be beaten by a number of competitors according to Kamil Madhok "The emphasis this weekend has suddenly gone back towards qualifying and we could see six guys fighting it out for pole position".

The two main challengers to the current Champ are likely to be Fernando Alonso who has had a brilliant practice day today and Vettel's closest rival in the Championship Leaderboard - Lewis Hamilton. Both are available at good value prices.

With Alonso setting the pace for much of today's practice session, being beaten by Hamilton eventually, it would seem these guys have what it takes - if provided with a car which is fully functional - to challenge the Red Bull drivers (whose cars are not as reliable as might be expected).

With both Vettel and Webber suffering KERS difficulties last week and Webber's seeming to be simply non-operational in practice sessions so far I reckon Monaco, where a good driver is what will win a race, could be the track where Red Bull's dominance is challenged.

I will also be tipping these two for the main race as a value alternative to champ Vettel.
