Seven goals in three games? That's pretty good right.

I mean, by anyone's standards.

I'd be quite happy with that after playing with my friends in the park.

A third division striker in Scotland would probably be pretty chuffed with that if he was playing against the three worst teams in the country.

Hell, I think Maxi Rodriguez is probably quite satisfied with his seven goals (including two hat-tricks in the last three matches) in the English Premiership!

It seems though, that the bookies are not that impressed with the Argentinians achievements and he is still a remarkable 7/2 (4.5 in decimal) to score at anytime in the match against Tottenham this weekend. To score twice (A feat he has achieved in two out of his past three matches) he is an incredible TWENTY-FIVE to one with BlueSq.com. Oh, and if you fancy him to get a hat-trick (which he has also done in two of his past three matches) you can get a whopping 125/1 with the same company.

Now, I am by no means saying that I guarantee, or even expect, Maxi will score a hat-trick this weekend but there is surely something wrong with the guy who makes the odds there and in terms of value?! If something has happened in two out of three matches, how can it be 125/1 (126.0 in decimal) that it will happen in the next game? To me that is crazy.

I reckon the in-form Argentine will pop-up with at least one goal this weekend against a Spurs side who have won once in thirteen matches and may or may not have Heurelho Gomes between the sticks (I leave it up to you to choose which would be better).

Just in case Rodriguez left his shooting boots down in London at Craven Cottage then have another bet on Dirk Kuyt (who has found the net in the last FIVE matches) at 3.00 (2/1) with William Hill, just to score at any point in the game.

To make this clear - if either Dirk Kuyt (five goals in five games) or Maxi Rodriguez (seven goals in three games) finds the net against Tottenham (who've conceded nine in five) then this bet will make profit.
