Manchester C. vs Tottenham by Jamesington

This will be an interesting match. I had initially decided to publish my tip for it, then changed my mind and elected not to post, but I have reverted to my initial opinion but would suggest betting with caution - only a small stake of four points.

Spurs have only won one of their last twelve matches, although that does include a big draw against Arsenal, a defeat to Chelsea and there were two matches against Real Madrid which would have taken a massive toll on the players.

However we try to coat it though, Tottenham are not in the best of spirits. They have lost fourth place to Manchester City and are currently down in sixth after Liverpool's recent revival. They have also lost key man Gareth Bale for the rest of the season.

For Spurs their are positives to be taken. Luka Modric and Rafael Van Der Vaart have kept up their impressive form. Defensively, while Gomes has his horrible moments, Michael Dawson, William Gallas and co are as reliable as usual and up front Jermain Defoe has begun to get his shooting boots back on!

Manchester City are a club who on any given day can perform in a number of manners. With Tevez, Silva, Balotelli and Yaya Toure just being a small selection of their match-winners the team has so many cards to play. At the same time, they could play a defensive line-up which wastes all their attacking talents. As the season goes on we have seen Mancini adopt this tactic less and less though and it is likely we will see City come out and attack.

Ideally then we will have two attacking sides going at each other for 90 minutes which, certainly from Spurs recent run, is likely to end in a draw.

I fancy a high-scoring draw. If we are correct then the rewards will be massive.
