Kilmarnock FC vs Celtic Glasgow by Jamesington

The battle for this season's SPL title has been an exciting one. Pole position has changed hands between Celtic and Rangers on more than one occasion throughout the season and right now it is the blue half of Glasgow which will be the happier, with their team currently holding a 4-point advantage at the top of the table.

Celtic lost midweek to Inverness 3-2 and it is therefore imperative that they take a maximum nine out of nine points from their remaining three fixtures - so expect the Bhoys to come out firing on all cylinders today against Killie.

Throughout this season the Old Firm have both regularly scored lots of goals but in the past few weeks the sides have upped the ante, seemingly knowing that the title could come down to goal difference (in Scotland you regularly find Rangers and Celtic scoring 5,6 or even 7 goals in their final fixtures).

With this in mind I would expect Celtic to score early today and go on to score plenty. I actually planned to have this same bet on Rangers yesterday but didn't manage to get to a computer in time to post it. The bet would have won, with Rangers netting four times.

We can get good odds on Celtic to score 3 or more goals (2.25) and as the goals go up, so do the odds, for 4 or more it is 4.5 and for 5 or more - 11.0. I would recommend a medium stake on 3 or more and then small stakes on the higher number of goals to ensure maximum profit if they really batter Kilmarnock.

With Hooper, Commons etc in good goalscoring form, I look at this as a pretty safe bet.
