New Jersey vs Ottawa by 20legend

New Jersey Devils is holding on to their fantastic streak with 9-0-1 in their last 10 games. Last game they baet New York Islanders 3-2 after penalties, where left winger Bryan Rolston got the winning goal in the sixth round.

Illya Kovalchuk has been the most important player to the New Jersey Devils on their way getting bac, after a bad start. Kovalchuk has got himself one point or more in 15 of his last 16 games. In his last 30 games he has 16 goals and 30 points, and he is the leader inside the team with 24 goals and 48 points so far this sesason.

Injuries NJ Devils: Zach Parise is close on returning and could be fit later this month. Zach Parise has been out since the knee surgery in he took in November.

Ottawa Senators has improved their play lately with 3-0-3 in their last 6 games. Ottawa begins on 4 straight matches away from home, and this will be their first test. Their center Jason Spezza has found some form and lead the Senators to good games, even if they have lost alot of them.

After only loosing by 1 goal against Boston and won against Atlanta Trashers (1-3) Ottawa lost 1-4 to NY Rangers on Saturday.

Injuries Ottawa: Matt Carkner (defence) is day-to-day, while forwards Daniel Alfredsson, Peter Regin and Milan Michalek are missing.

NJ Devils is on fire these days, and it dosen't seem that anything could stop them. Ottawa has 5-4-1 in their last 10 matches, and has improved as a team lately, but I don't think that Ottawa could be a real threat to ND Devils, when Ottawa is playing away form home. Kovalchuk, Rolston and the other guys at NJ Devils looks to have found each other and they will play a key-role in this match also.
