Lorenskog vs Valerenga by 20legend

Quarter-final in the Norwegian Cup (NM). Best of 7 series.

First game: Valerenga - Lorenskog 4-3 after OT.

Valerenga won the first match after OT. This is the second match and Lorenskog now had the home advantage. The first games was very close and dramatical with the 4-3 goal in OT.

Valerenga was leading 1-0 after 1.period, but Lorenskog answerd by winning the 2.period 3-0. Most of the people thougt that Lorenskog were able to take it when they lead 3-1, but it didn't work out that way. Valerenga scored an early goal in the 3.period, before scoring with one player less on the ice. In OT, Valerenga player Lars Erik Lund scored the final goal.

Valerenga still has problems at the back. Regan Kelly is out with head injury, while David Brack has broken his ankle. Lorenskog had no serious injuries in the last match, and they don't have now either.

The 1st game between these two teams showed that it is going to be very close in the remaining 6 games. Lorenskog was not happy after giving away the 3-1 lead and Lorenskog was the best team in the OT, but didn't manager to score.

Now Lorenskog has the chance to strike back at home and I think they will. Lorenskog has a wider troop than Valerenga wich can be important in these matches. Lorenskog should have won in the first meeting, but Valerenga's routine was crucial.

Lorenskog has learned from the last game and should be able to win this at home.
