Lazio vs Bari by 20legend
The 4th placed Lazio welcomes the last team on the table, when Bari arrives at the Stadio Olimpico this evning.
Lazio has the 4th place after a 13-6-6 form this season. After a very impressive start, they've struggled a bit in the recent weeks, but they are still only 7 points away form the league leaders AC Milan.
Lazio has 2-2-2 in their last six games, but this includes a draw against AC Milan, and the cup-loose against Rome.
Lazio wil miss out Mibido Diakate, but he is not so important this season. More importantly is the injury of Stefano Mauri, who is a reagular first team player. Simone Del Nero and Tommaso Rocchi will also miss this match.
Bari has been terrible to watch the whole season. They lost 7 games in a row, before finally getting a point against Genoa (0-0) last Sunday, so their form is 0-1-7 in their last 8 matches. They've got a new trainer, Bortolo Mutti, and bought the norwegian striker Erik Huseklepp from SK Brann, to the club. Huseklepp wasn't playing in the last match against Genoa, but should be fit to this game.
Bari will be without Nicola Belmonte, Vitaly Kutuzov, Paulo Vito Barreto and Salvatore Masiello. On the other hand will Stefano Okaka Chuka possibly be available for Bari.
I think that Bari is lost, and can't make anything against a hunting Lazio-side. Lazio should and MUST win this kind of matches if they are going to stay in the medal race. Lazio has everything to play for, and with both motivation and home advantage, this should to be a quite easy victory for Lazio.
