Newcastle vs Tottenham by Mrgol
For home team infact are out Andy Carroll (striker 18atts+2 11goals topscorer), Alan Smith (midf. 10atts+3), Dan Gosling (midf.), Steven Taylor (def. 7atts), Sol Campbell (def.4atts+2), Hatem Ben Arfa (midf. 3atts+1 1goal), Ryan Taylor (def.3atts+1 2 goals), Cheik Tiote (midf. 16atts+3). Apart these players, captain Kevin Nolan (midf.19atts+10 10goals second topscorer) is not fully fit, also if he will play and Wayne Routledge (12atts+7) will remain probably out because he is near to leave the team.
So, problems seems overall in attack, and it is true that Newcastle scored six goals in last four matches, but five of them in only one match trashing West Ham.
And few weeks ago, with Newcastle in better conditions, Tottenham already won 2-0 at home against Newcastle.
Tottenham has not so serious problems, having out - more or less - the same players for many weeks, Jamie O'Hara, Jonathan Woodgate, Tom Huddlestone and Ledley King and only midfielder Huddleston (14atts+2) and defender King (7atts.) played some role in the season.
Tottenham is also boosted by teh new acquisition of Steven Pieenar from Everton, tha should make his debut on the bench.
I think that Tottenham is stronger then Newcastle also in normal conditions and with home team struggling up front, they will be able to continue their run of winning matches.
