AC Milan vs Bari by Jamesington
It has been said that neither side are playing that well at the moment. This is a fair assessment with regard to the away team, Bari have only won 1 of their last 15 Serie A matches. However, Milan's poor form has been greatly exaggerated - they have simply drawn their last 2 matches (they've also won 7 of the last 11).
Allegri, the Milan coach, has said he wants his side to win this trophy. To do that they will need to get past this Bari team. I think we can safely assume Milan will win the match when looking at the team's recent records and therefore it is just a case of by how many goals.
It has been announced that Antonio Cassano will start against his home-town club and for me this is a key factor in deciding to take Milan minus a goal. I really think we will see Cassano taking this game by the scruff of the neck and making it his own. He has two sets of fans to impress, not just one here.
Cassano will want to make a push to be a regular starter for Allegri and this is a great chance for him to do that.
There are plenty of others willing and capable of taking the goalscorer's mantle if Cassano does not find the net with Pato, Robinho, Ibrahimovic and others in reserve.
Milan will win. I expect by two or three goals.
