Leeds vs Arsenal by Jamesington
Robin Van Persie is just getting back to full fitness after a long spell on the sidelines so Wenger seems to be playing him as much as possible without overdoing it.
Hopefully RVP will play in this match as victory for Arsenal is fairly important and I cannot imagine the manager will leave it to Bendtner/Vela.
When Van Persie plays he is on penalty duty, scoring in recent matches against West Ham and Birmingham from the spot. In the first match between these two Arsenal could have had two or three penalties so it may be safe to assume they could end up with one here. In the first Leeds match it was Fabregas who took (and scored) the spotkick, but Van Persie was not on the pitch at this time.
The Dutchman scored two in his last match and looked dangerous, coming close on another two or three occasions.
Against weaker opposition than themselves Arsenal will create chances. Their problem against Ipswich was they had no-one able to convert them. If Van Persie plays, I reckon he will do just that.
Robin Van Persie to score (if he plays).
