Galway vs Saint Patricks by Mrgol

In spite of financial crisis that provoked exodus of various players, Galway is in a run of only one match lost in last five ones in championship

But we must consider that - apart surprisingly won on Bohemians' field - Galway played with weak team, drawing against Dundalk in crisis and winning against UCD and Drogheda, opponents in race to avoid relegation.

Before these matches, last succes were a draw against Bray and a win with Drogheda.

So we must say that Galway obtain points against teams of his same level.

And his last match was on 30th of august, replay of FAI Cup against Salthill, while St. Patrick's last match was on 27th of August - win in cup against amatorial team of Belgrove; for a thin team as Galway is - specially after exodus of player, this should be a problem.

For today match they have an important absence - Gary Curran (midf. 20atts. +3 2goals) - and two important players that will have fitness tests, Ciaran Foley (midf. 22atts +1) and Rhys Meynell (def. 25atts.)

St. Patrick's lost many points in these last weeks, and now is second in table with five points less then Shamrock, and same number of points of Bohemians. So a win become realy important today.

Only midf. Coughan (5atts. +4) is out for them and this team has surely a better rooster then Galway, as show also last match in this season with a result of 4-2 on St.Patrick's field two months ago.

So, probable an away win here
