Tranmere vs Brighton by Radu

Brighton managed a good performance qualifieng in next round of the cup LDV on Tuesday after a tight game decided at penalties, away at Shrewsbury.

But they payed a hard price for that and for todays game they will have to face now some problems with missings and tiredness. Some news according with BBCSports:

"Brighton are sweating on the fitness of six players ahead of the trip to Tranmere in a League One clash on Saturday afternoon.Top-scorer Glenn Murray is a major doubt with the ankle problem which kept him out of the midweek penalty shoot-out win at Shrewsbury, while Adam Virgo (ankle) and Colin Hawkins (calf) suffered injuries during the game and are struggling to be fit.

Winger Kevin McLeod is feeling the knee injury which has plagued him all season and on-loan Charlton striker Stuart Fleetwood is doubtful with a shoulder problem.

And defender Adam Hinshelwood, who made a triumphant return from more than three years of injury misery as a first-half substitute at Shrewsbury, suffered a dead leg in the closing stages and is also a doubt.

The Seagulls are already without Michel Kuipers (hand), David Livermore and Gary Hart (both knee) but Kerry Mayo (knee) is close to fitness and on-loan Leeds midfielder Bradley Johnson returns after being cup-tied in midweek.

Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore will again be without striker Craig Curran for the visit of struggling Brighton & Hove Albion.Curran is battling to recover from a stomach injury and is expected to be sidelined for another fortnight at least.

Moore has no other concerns but his side is reeling after being condemned to three straight defeats in a losing sequence which has seen them dumped out of the FA Cup and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Promotion is now the sole focus of their campaign and Moore expects his men to reignite their bid against Micky Adams' side.

Moore said: "We need to take at least seven points out of the Christmas period.

"We're close to having a good side here and we've had some good results in the league recently."
