Rosol vs Karlovic by Tennisguy

This is a first round match from the Basel ATP tournament between Lukas Rosol from the Czech Republic and Ivo Karlovic from Croatia.

They have only met once in a match that took place at the Doha ATP tournament in 2011 which Karlovic won 7-6(5), 7-6(7).

I think this is going to easily go to a tiebreak because I just can't see any of them managing any breaks in the first set. I mean just by looking at the result of their only encounter it pretty much says it all. Both of them have very powerful services and also both of them are pretty poor returners so as a results tiebreaks usually take place when these guys play(especially in in Karlovic's mathces).

Rosol has been going through a rough patch but I don't think that really matters here. Al he needs to do is serve well because he surely knows his chances of managing a break are incredibly low, so the tiebreak will surely be on his mind.

Overall I just don't see this match going any different than a first set tiebreak so that's why I am picking the over 12.5 games in the first set here.
