Liverpool are on a bumpy ride so early in the season, the sides many changes, loss of Suarez and busy midweek schedule has surely set its prey on the team. A single victory in their last 5 premier league matches, 4 out 9 points collected at home wasn´t what Liverpool will have hoped for at the start of the campaign. They draw against Everton and loss to Basel showcased a team that isn´t good at taking clear goal scoring chances, against Basel the side look demoralised and tired, Gerard admitting that the Swiss side wanted the win win more. Balotelli, a world class striker for sure is struggling to fit into the system, while he isn´t getting the right balls to work with from his co-attackers, his frustrations were clear against Basel, we all know a frustrated Balotelli is poison to a team. On the bright side Sturridge, who has a good record against West Brom is back from his injury.

West Brom started slow with 2 back to back draws, then 2 losses, the season ahead wash´t looking any better then how they ended it last year, but now with 3 back to back victories, 1 was in the cup against Hull, while the other was at White Hart Lane and also their kick start to their recent form. West Brom have some experienced quality in their troop including a young Berahino fresh from a brace against Hull, and an impressive 4 goals out of 6 matches.

West Brom have 3 out of 6 clean sheets, which better then Liverpools single clean sheet. Liverpools defence is shaky and generous, exploited by West Ham, and in a match were not much had to be done at the back until the end against Everton, but failed to secure the win. They attack has not being as lethal as last year. Anfield is a special Arena but Liverpools results and poor performances have surely spinal tapped the teams moral, pressure will be on to put on a show and win all 3 points against a side in much better shape and confidence. A side that has a good history against Liverpool winning 3/6 matches (2 at Anfield), losing twice and drawing their latest match.

Liverpool are at home and favourites to win according to the bookies, apart from Sturridge returning not much can back this. West Brom have definitely taken notice to Liverpools current form and will go to Anfield with confidence of collecting a good result.
