Halep vs Muguruza by AlQahira

Halep has been a disappointment on the american hardcourt and to be honest I don't have high expectations from her for the asian part of the circuit. Simona has looked rusty in all her matches in USA in august, she had a very busy spring season, she needed to take a break after the Bucharest Open but that break seems to have switched her off, she didn't made her impressive effusive game, her serving percentages were dreadful and on the second serve she was a sitting duck. Today, she will meet an adversary that spells trouble; Muguruza Blanco; the spaniard is exactly the type of player that Halep struggles against, agressive player, using tennis vernacular, Muguruza is what you may call a "ball basher". 11 of her 15 losses for Halep this season have come against this type of player, the last one beeing at US Open against Lucic. When she is on top of her game she is agressive and she smoothly combines defensive shots with offensive ones; when she is out of sync, like she was in USA she is defensive, as soon as the other player manages to calibrate her shots, Halep really looks helpless. Given how bad her service game has been in august I doubt she has adjusted those problems by now so Garbine will forsooth pounce on Simona's second serve. If Muguruza doesn't spay UE and DF all over the place she has a very good chance to bag this up.pin
