Manchester C. vs Chelsea by Rahul

The clash of the 2 top title favorites in the Premier League kicks off on this Super Sunday as Man City and Chelsea go head to head against each other.

Man City on the whole have been disappointing and largely due to the form of their vice-captain and talismanic midfielder Yaya Toure. He had been in excellent form last couple of years; and whenever they were down; you could always count on his energy, drive and aggressiveness to help show the way for them towards the goal. With off-field problems this summer its seen that he has not been up to himself; and there could be a real chance that Pelligrini actually drops him today and brings him off the bench for an impact. Aguero was largely rested in mid-week that will keep him fresh for today's encounter; which you would more than likely see him on the scoresheet.

On the Chelsea front, despite taking the lead, they skittled to a 1-1 draw with Schalke at home, but Mourinho clearly had eyes for this fixture against City, resting both Costa and Remy for this one. Costa has been absolutely prolific and it won't be any surprise to not see him on the scoresheet tonight specifically with the poor form being shown by the Man City defense, leaking in almost every game this season.

Aside from one game last season, both teams have always had high scoring encounters among each other with 3 goals and upwards; and specifically in this campaign in the recent weeks both Chelsea and Man City have been awfully leaky in defense, which could show that the over 2.5 goals would be the best option to take in this game.
