Zilina vs Trnava by Dajkula
After a couple of seasons of poor results Zilina seems to be getting on track and have started this season on a high. It helps of course that Slovan has problems before the league started. Zilina has 19 points from 10 matches but there is a big difference between their home and away matches. At home Zilina is superb with 4-0-0 and 13:2 goal difference while away have only 1-4-1. Their away game is a big problem it seems as they really blew it in the last game @ Trencin. Zilina had a 0:2 lead and a man more on the field but the hosts came back to take a 2:2 draw. Nobody was happy with that outcome and I expect a reaction from Zilina today. A similar one they had when they demolished Slovan 3:0 a few rounds ago. Their artificial pitch is a tough ground for every one and the crowd gives them also a big boost.
Trnava is placed 6`th on the table with 11 points and they have 3-2—4 till now. As the hosts Trnava also picks most of their points at home and are quite bad away. And bad they are because in 4 away matches Trnava was not able to score a single goal till now and have 0-1-3 and 0:6 goal difference. Al of their away loses were 2:0 and they lost to Trencin, Myjava and bottom of the table Kosice. I really don`t expect much from Trnava today.
Zilina will have two players back from slight knocks – Mato Jelic(att.9-5) and Miro Kacer(mid.9-1) who missed the game @ Trencin but have Jar Mihalik(mid.9-3) questionable. Others are available.
Trnava has midfielder Casada(7-0) questionable as are Marik Janeck(def.9-0) Erik Saba(att.4-1) and Jan Vlasko(8-5) who were carrying flu this week. For sure will be missing Srdjan Grabez(mid.2-0) and Patrik Carnota(def.0-0).
From my angle all is going in favor of a home win, maybe 2:0.
