Brechin vs Peterhead by Sureseye

Brechin city did well at home (7-4-7) to earn a safe return in the league one last term. They have started the season brightly with 4 points, earning an important 1 point away to Dunfermline (0-0), and a 1-0 win at home welcoming Stenhousemuir. Brechin will be at full strength tonight but will have to deal with the specialness of Rory McAllister, an ex-Brechin player.

Newly promoted from league 2 with a modest away performance (7-1-5), Peterhead have began life in league one with 3 points so far earned last round against Airdrieonians 2-0, a team expected to go down by the end of the season. Match threw open when parker got red-carded for host in the 78 minute. Guests capitalized on that and took advantage of the few chances they had to threaten. Start striker Andy Rodgers (32/11) who got the opener for Peterhead last round is out for today’s clash same as important attacking defender Fraser McLaren (31/5) who has not participated so far this season. On the potential bright side, Peterhead hope to include new signing Mark Millar, the former Celtic, Dundee United and Falkirk midfielder (6 goals from 24 matches).

A tough contest awaits both team and host are poised to use home support as added advantage.
