Aalborg vs Dinamo Zagreb by Peter

Aalborg
VS
Dinamo-Zagreb
First leg of the third qualifying round of the Champions League. Aalborg BK is receiving the visit of GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

Aalborg BK didn't played in the second qualifying round but they played 2 matches in the championship, 0-0 at SönderjyskE and 2-0 at home with FC Midtjylland. They didn't lost important players but they didn't brought new important players.

On the other side GNK Dinamo Zagreb played in the second qualifying round against Zalgiris Vilnius from Lithuania, they obtained 2 wins (2-0 at home and 2-0 in Lithuania). They lost the Croatian Super Cup against HNK Rijeka with the score of 2-1. They had a great start in the championship with 2 wins, 4-0 against Slaven Belupo Koprivnica and 4-3 at NK Lokomotiva Zagreb. They lost right wing Alen Halilovic (18 years) who was transferred to FC Barcelona B but they transferred valuable players from important teams like Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Olympiacos Piraeus, Sporting Lisbon and others.

In my opinion GNK Dinamo Zagreb has the force and experience to win against Aalborg BK who played last year in Europa League qualifiers and lost 3-0 at FC Dila Gori and made only a 0-0 at home.pin

I'm not disagreeing with your pick, but you should have acquired a bit more information on Aalborg.

You are saying that they haven't bought any important players? Well, they have bought Nicklas Helenius from Aston Villa, Thomas Enevoldsen from Mechelen and Rasmus Jönsson from Wolfsburg (Jönsson, however, not fit yet).

I think its gonna be a close game and it can go either way.

Good luck :)

They didn't buy Helenius. He's on loan. But you are however right though that Peter's knowledge here is as thin as paper. Writing that Aalborg didn't lose any important players is a complete lie. They lost the best player in the team Kasper Kusk. He's even on the Denmark national team, so missing that information must be really embarrasing.
