John Isner has increasing his level during each round of this tournament.
Indeed he struggled for his first match of the tournament against Ginepri where he needed three sets and even saved 2 match points but then he made me good impression by winning his two next rounds in 2 sets. Firstly against Matosevic where he lost his serve quickly in the 1st set but succeeded to debreak quickly and finally won the 1st set on a classic tie break while he succeeded to win the 2nd set with a break. And then secondly against Sock yesterday where he finally recovered his true solidity on serve because he didn't lose it during the whole match and he succeeded to break Sock on both sets where he was fully concentrated on return, especially the crazy last game of the 1st set.
I wasn't expected Dudi Sela to pass couple of rounds so see him on final is a big surprise for me. He deserved to be here even if I have the feeling that he took advantage of poor (even weird) matchs of couple of his opponents, especially Querrey...
Usually Sela has problems against big serve, like all the players with "short" height so I think that he will have troubles on return if Isner serves at his level, while Isner just showed good agressivity and solidity on his baseline against Sock so I won't be surprised if Isner succeeded to break Sela before the tie break.
Also, Isner won the two previous meetings even if he dropped a set during the last one which was in Delray Beach early this season but where Isner wasn't at the same level of today to my mind (He dropped a set against Russell and Rhyne Williams in Delray Beach so definitely not a good Isner...)
So I think that Isner will win this final, and I think that he can win it in 2 sets.
