Luzern vs St Johnstone by iSpree

I think we will see an interesting match here where the home team will dominate. Odds are already dropping so I will go for it as soon as possible. The two sides meet for the first time in European competitions.

St. Johnstone:

They will have major problems in this match. Many important players will miss this game. Central defender Steven Anderson is definitely out of the trip to Switzerland because of a hamstring injury, Anderson and Gary McDonald (niggling injury) will be missing too. Their top-scorer Stevie May will be out too as he struggles to shake off a knock. This team sold some players but didn’t bought some until now. The moral in the team will be bad too as they will playing without their top-players in the squad. So I think the will play without a concept and this is a big advantage for the home team in my opinion.

This team bought good players by now. Marco Schneuwly, their newest signing from FC Thun, will be in the starting formation probably and motivated to score here. Moreover the coach has pinpointed midfielder Alain Wiss as the man who poses the biggest threat to his team: “Wiss is a box-box player who has a knack of scoring goals so he will have to be watched closely”. Summing it up Luzern is a team that likes to press high up and will be the favorite in this match. Their latest form showed good results too as the won all their 5 friendly matches. To be honest, they played against weak teams, but I think 5 wins isn’t that bad if we consider that there weren’t always their best players on the field.

I think there is a big value in betting on the hosts in this one, because St Johnstone will be without important players (May the biggest missing). I can see the guest struggling here so I will go for -1AH for the Home team. Odds shouldn’t be that high and they will drop rapidly.
