Brazil vs Netherlands by JerryDrake

Brazil
VS
Netherlands
After losing the semifinal with Germany 1-7 at home ground, Brazil host tonight Holland for the 3rd place final. The Dutch team have been defeated by Argentina at penalty shoot-outs and I expect tonight Brazil to be much more motivated than Holland. Reason is simple: the Brazilians want to cancel the big defeat in the memory of their people. It will not be easy but it is a work that must be done.

Luiz Gustavo wrote in twitter that the result with Germany has een a 'shame' and that this team will remain in the history for having suffered the worst defeat. We all saw how David Luiz cried, how Brazilians felt for losing the chance to win their first home World Cup.

On the Dutch side I have read players declaring that they would prefer not to play this match - as it is seen as useless. True, it is useless for Holland but it has a lot of meaning for Brazil.

Italy lost the semifinal at home in 1990 and they won the little final with England. Same happened with Germany in 2006. The third place final is a chance for Brazil to repair the damages of the semifinals.

With Thiago Silva back in the defense I think that Brazil will be able to win this match. I bet on their motivation.

I also bet on Brazil, but i don't know if they can score with Neymar out. Fred and Hulk are the biggest jokes in Brazil football history. But, maybe that the pressure is gone now, they can finnaly play some football (like they did last year in the Confederations Cup) instead of the defensive greek type bullshit they played all this tournament.
