Tennis ATP, Wimbledon (grass)
I found Benneteau very good last week in Eastbourne, indeed he finally played and adapted well to the grass surface, so much better than his shameful match in London against Estrella but which can be explain by his tiredness after Roland-Garros where he won doubles title.
So in Eastbourne, he beat Simon and Lu in 2 easy sets, so good wins for him, and then lost against Querrey but it was a tight match and unfortunately for him, Querrey was more realist than him during this match.
Anyway I think that this is good for his confidence and then that he can do a decent Wimbledon.
He will play against Gilles Muller (103th) who just passed qualifications. Of course, never easy to play against Muller on grass, but Benneteau knows him well and already beat him further times, indeed they met 4 times and Benneteau won 3 of them. Interesting thing is that their last meeting was only two years ago here in Wimbledon and Benneteau won in 3 sets with only one set which goes to a tie break.
So I think that Benneteau will win this match, and I think that he can win it without 5 sets.
