Spain vs Chile by Kamlesh

Spain suffered humiliation in their opening match against Netherlands as they were heavily defeated by a score of 1-5. This is mainly due to the fact that they play only one style of football and they don't have a backup plan. The coach hinted that there could be many changes in the line up and there is enough quality in the squad to do so. Iniesta and Torres were present in the press conference before the match, so, it's likely they will be in the starting line-up.

Probable Line-Up:

Spain: Casillas (GK); Azpilicueta, Ramos, Martinez, Alba, Alonso, Busquets, Pedro, Fabregas, Iniesta, Torres

Chile managed to defeat Australia but it was not easy as the latter created many chances in the game. Chile were lucky to win that game and their goalkeeper gave a very good performance, denying Australia on several occasions. However, the real test is today as they have to play against a Spanish side determined to win. As such, they will have to keep it tight at the back.

Probable Line-Up:

Chile: Bravo (GK); Isla, Mena, Diaz; Medel, Jara, Aranguiz, Vidal, Vargas; Sanchez, Valdivia

Spain find themselves in a must win situation. In case of draw or defeat, they can virtually forget about the next round. The Spanish side still boasts much quality and the game against Netherlands is one to be forgotten, in my opinion. They can bounce back against Chile as they are undefeated against them. In fact, Spain played against Chile 10 times, drew twice and won 8 times.
