Belgium vs Top Goalscorer by Goleador
World Cup 2014, Brazil
Best Goalscorer Belgium
Lukaku is after the injury of Benteke the only centre forward beside very young Origi. So he should play all games if he doesn´t get injured or shows really bad performance. During the last season Lukaku, who´s owner is Chelsea, was on loan in Everton. There he scored 15 goals in 31 games, so a rate of about 0,5 goals per game. After Bentekes injury Lukaku also played as central forward in the national team in a 4-2-1-2-1 or 4-3-2-1 system. I expect Mirallas and Hazard as wingers to "feed" Lukaku with high crosses to use his height of 1,91 m. Lukaku, although of his height isn´t very slow, so if there is a spot the two defensive midfielders and the central midfielder, whoever will play, because there are many options with De Bruyne, Fellaini, Witsel, Dembele and Defour, can send Lukaku in this spot and lead him to a good scoring opportunity. In the national team Lukaku scored 6 goals in his last eight matches, so there is also a very good average (although three of those goals were against Luxembourg in a friendly).
For me this bet is a nice value bet because no other players should get so many opportunities to score like Lukaku. In his last friendly he was changed out because of and effusion, but a week ago Lukaku was fit again. He should be extra motivated, because if we follow the newest rumours many clubs have got their focus on him like, VfL Wolfsburg from German Bundesliga, Tottenham Hotspurs or CF Valencia.
