Egypt vs Jamaica by Marlo

Egypt will take on Jamaica in a friendly game. It should be noted that neither side have qualified for the World Cup and as such the extra motivation to fine tune preparations may not be evident. Proceed with caution.

Nevertheless, I am prepared to side with the better team both in terms of performance and stats.

Egypt has only lost 2 of their last 9 games, most recently in a 3-2 defeat to Chile and in qualifying for the WOrld Cup with a 6-1 defeat to Ghana away from home. They have beaten Bosnia, Ghana (on home turf) and Zambia between those two losses.

On the other hand, Jamaica has suffered 4 defeats in their last 6 games, only managing to clinch scalps against St. Lucia and Barbados, lesser nations than Egypt in terms of football. When faced with two recent outings against Serbia and Switzerland, they lost by a goal margin on both occassions.

Salah will be available and this will be most important for Egypt backers as he will create and may nick a goal here.

Egypt has scored 2 or more in 8 of their last 9 games and against quality opposition Jamaica struggle to nick a goal and they may very well need 2 or 3 to win here if goals are on the menu for Egypt.

Odds against for Egypt is enough to get me involved. Good luck if you're on. DNB may be worth a shot for accumulators.
